'Submarine'.
With the new year comes another 12 months of cinema, and there has already been a lot of talk of what will be released in the near future. One of the most positively discussed upcoming films is Richard Ayoade's 'Submarine', said to be "the most refreshing, urgent and original debut the British film industry has seen in years" by the Telegraph's David Gritten.
A coming of age story, we follow Oliver Tate, a 15-year-old boy who wants to achieve two goals: to lose his virginity before he reaches the age of 16, and to stop his Mother from having an affair with her dance teacher. Penned and Directed by Ayoade (Moss 'The IT Crowd'), the film looks to be a strong and thoughtful alternative from the American blockbusters of 2011, such as 'The Green Hornet' and 'The Fighter'.
'Submarine' is released here in the UK on 18th March.
